Elizabeth, I knew you for only a short four months at St. Vincent de Paul Primary, and yet you are one of the ones I will always remember the clearest. It is always a bit nerve wrecking as a new person to join a school and a community that is so close-knit, but I remember the first time I felt truly part of St. Vincent, and it was because of you Elizabeth. I was sitting down doing some work in the classroom, when you bounced across to show me your Leavers' Passport; under the page titled "Year 6", you had written my name 'Miss Ting' alongside all your classmates and teachers. You were so excited to show me this, and you smiled so brightly as you exclaimed "Look at this, Miss Ting." - I was so touched by your sweet gesture Elizabeth, more than you could know. I had not been at the school for long, and yet you had accepted me as being part of Year 6 so openly and warmly. I will never forget that Elizabeth. My time at the school was made immensely brighter and more memorable because of you. I chuckle and smile when I think of my time at St. Vincent, because I will always remember how you would quite literally dance and sing into your PE kit to make those around you laugh, or how every morning without fail you would so cheerily and politely greet me with a 'Good Morning, Miss Ting'. Even though, we did not know each other for long your impact was not any less powerful. I was truly sadden to hear your passing, as I have never met a brighter and happier girl than you. Where ever you may now be Elizabeth, I hope you are as happy as you have always been and that you are lighting up the worlds around you. Yours, Miss Ting
