Story

April just gone, would and should have been my youngest niece's Elizabeth’s (Lilibet) 14th birthday. Elizabeth died unexpectedly 34 months ago, aged just 11 years old, with an underlying and undetected heart condition that caused her heart to stop. Next Sunday, 16th June 2019 myself and my sister Kellie (Lilibet's Mum) are taking part and hoping to complete the epic 54 miles being the London to Brighton Bike Ride. Eeek!! We are doing this in order to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) which is a charity organisation working to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families. I signed up to this challenge because it will be incredibly difficult for me, not being a natural athlete or cyclist, and felt I couldn't ask people to part with their money unless extreme effort had gone into it. Let me assure you this will need EXTREME effort for me!!! If you would like to add a bit more pressure to me by being so kind and sponsoring me, I and my family will be incredibly thankful. Thank you.
